Can we configure a Radius Proxy with multiple servers in IPA?

Issue

  • When one of 2 Radius OTP Servers went down, authentication was interrupted for all users and they were unable to log in.
  • We need to specify multiple Radius servers to have failover.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9
  • Red Hat Identity Management (IdM) / FreeIPA
  • Radius One-Time Password Servers
