Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.4 for IBM Power LE (POWER9) only supports guest machines that are using Radix Page Table (RPT).

  • The following configurations are not supported:

  1. Running Power8 guest machines with Hash Page Table (HPT).
  2. Running Power9 guest machines in Power8 compatible mode.
  • If the above two features are needed. Please upgrade your System to
    "Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.5 for IBM Power LE (POWER9)"
