After compute reboot VM are not able to start showing error & VM volume was not able to detach.

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • After a compute VM got shut down and after the Reboot of the particular compute. we are not able to start the VM. showing error called " VM volume was not able to detach."
  • After troubleshooting with Compute level there was a compute nova log error that are not able to detach and not able to bring the VM up.
  • rebooted the compute and tried to start the SRIOV VM's inside that compute. Soon then we identified the below error in Nova compute logs.
