Installation of RHEV Guest Tools in Windows guest fails
Issue
- When installing the RHV Guest Tools package it fails with:
Installation of RHEV-Tools on the Guest should be performed only
when running on RHEL 6 type host (RHEV-H or RHEL). Installation
aborted.
Environment
- Red Hat Virtualization (RHV) 4.x
- rhev-guest-tools-iso-4.3-10
- Windows Guests
