After installing Oracle Grid 12.2.0.1 kernel panic occurs
Issue
- After installing Oracle Grid 12.2.0.1 kernel panic occurs about 30 seconds after the system boot
- HP Watchdog initiates reboot with following message:
kernel: hpwdt: Unexpected close, not stopping watchdog!

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.3
- Oracle Grid 12.2.0.1
- HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10
- HP NMI Watchdog [hpwdt]
