Issue

When login as Windows AD user on RHEL5 system , the following error is returned

"id: cannot find name for user ID 10001",  
"id: cannot find name for group ID 10001" 
"id: cannot find name for user ID 10001 "

id: ldap-nss.c:1347: do_init: Assertion `cfg->ldcuris[_session.ls_current_uri] != ((void *)0)' failed.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enteprise Linux 5
  • Windows AD authentication using LDAP and Kerberos
