sudo not obeying NOPASSWD in RHEL

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • On RHEL 5.4 in an isolated environment we run, sudo always prompts for a password.  As user 'sybase' (which is a member of DBAS), I am prompted for my password when executing one of the REFRESH scripts listed below on one of the "dbservers" hosts.  'sudo -l' shows that we should not be prompted for a password.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
