RHV: Live storage migration fails on VMs with snasphots on block storage

Issue

Live Storage Migration, Cold storage migration or Import VM (without collapsing snapshots) fails with:

qemu-img: error while writing sector 276866432: No space left on device', 'qemu-img: Failed to flush the refcount block cache: No space left on device

Environment

  • Red Hat Virtualization 3.3 and above
    • Data Center Compatibility Level 4.0 or lower
      • images qemu compat=0.10
  • Virtual Machine has a snapshot, and disk was extended after snapshot was taken.
  • The target storage domain is a block storage domain (FCP/iSCSI)
