Why does my system have a network interface called ibft0 ?
Issue
- Why does one of my systems have a network interface called
ibft0? - The system logs contain an entry like the following:
udev: renamed network interface eth1 to ibft0
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.4
- system on iSCSI
- iBFT used to hand over IP/iSCSI target data to RHEL
