Debugging an Individual Router Pod

Issue

• I am having problems with a router and cannot tell if the issue is the router itself or something in between
• How do I verify if my loadbalancer is causing the issue?
• I do not have DNS set up but want to test my router
• My app does not yet have an externally accessible CNAME that resolves to the router -- how do I test it's working?
• How to use curl to rule out if the issue is caused by a loadbalancer, the haproxy router, the OpenShift service object, or the application in the pod
• Using the --resolve flag and -H "Host: " flags with OpenShift routes
