Notification for updates in gnome

Hi!

At work we are starting to offer developers a linux based virtual desktop on VMware Horizon. This is based on RHEL Workstation 7.x.
When RHEL updates are available on Satellite they should be notified through the desktop somehow. I remember updatesd in rhel 6, but cannot find anything like that in RHEL 7 Workstation.
So I wonder which options I have to clearly show that there are updates avilable, and provide a simple way to install them.
