Can't remove error pods after delete deployment config in OCP3.5

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • When I delete the deployment config, all rc/running pods will be deleted but the pods with the status:error still exist. However, in OCP3.6 all pods will be deleted. That is not the expected result.

Environment

  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 3.5
