Do I need to set different broker name in master/slave brokers?

Issue

My brokers are master/slave topology and they are using NFSV4 as shared storage. I want to know whether it is a must to set different broker name for the master and slave broker.

  <persistenceAdapter>
    <kahaDB directory="/sharedFileSystem/sharedBrokerData" 
lockKeepAlivePeriod="2000">
        <locker>
            <shared-file-locker lockAcquireSleepInterval="10000" />
        </locker>

  ...
</broker>
