How to perform mutual TLS (MTLS) between APIcast and API Backend on Red Hat 3scale API Management?
Issue
- We have an API Backend which requires the client (the API gateway in this case) to perform mutual SSL authentication to connect. The issue we are seeing is that the the APIcast gateway logs connection timed out and returns an error 504. The following error is seen:
(110: Connection timed out) when connecting with proxy_ssl_certificate
