Updating the management user or password for a JBoss AS 7 resource in JBoss ON has no affect until the agent is restarted
Issue
- Monitoring is broken and restarting the agent resolved the issue.
- Monitoring is suddenly broken for JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 6 targets.
- Management user no longer exists, but the availability check continues to be OK.
- Changes to user name or password value have no affect.
- EAP 6 connections settings username and password change has no effect until the agent is restarted
Environment
- JBoss Operations Network (JON) 3.1.1, 3.1.2
- JBoss Application Server (AS) 7 plug-in for JBoss ON
- JBoss Enterprise Application Platform(EAP) 6.x management user or password have changed
- JBoss AS resource's connection setting's
UserorPasswordhave been updated - JBoss AS 7 plug-in continues to use the original values for user or password
