Third party qla2xxx driver can not detect new luns
Issue
- Following errors are appearing while trying to scan new LUNs using normal process How to rescan the SCSI bus to add or remove a SCSI device without rebooting the computer
Jul 18 11:18:18 test kernel: sd 0:0:2:0: Unexpected response from lun 15 while scanning, scan aborted
Jul 18 11:18:18 test kernel: sd 0:0:3:0: Unexpected response from lun 15 while scanning, scan aborted
- Unable to attach the new LUNs without rebooting servers.
