Issue

  • While running yum commands on RHN Proxy clients, fails with following error.
Error Downloading Packages:
  1:telnet-0.17-48.el6.x86_64: failed to retrieve getPackage/telnet-0.17-48.el6.x86_64.rpm from custom-rhel-x86_64-server-6
error was [Errno 14] PYCURL ERROR 22 - "The requested URL returned error: 500 Internal Server Error"
  • httpd error_log showing permission issue.
  [error] OSError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/tmp/_rhn_transports-28768-vs5Vdf'
