When mod_security 2.9 will be suppoerted in RHEL 7 ?

Issue

• We run several web servers backed by the mod_security application firewall. the standard version provided by RHEL7 is 2.7.3. However the latest OWASP rule set (which we would like to use) requires at least version 2.8, and 2.9 is currently available. Can you tell me of any plans to have these versions included in RHEL7 (or 6) and also to take this as a feature request for this to happen.
