SafeNet SecureStorage appliance hangs RHEL 6.9 NFS Client
Issue
- RHEL NFS Client goes through a "SafeNet StorageSecure" appliance before reaching an NFS Server.
- Sometimes the appliance closes the NFS Client TCP session with a FIN.
- RHEL 6.8 (tested with
kernel-2.6.32-642.11.1) responded to this FIN with a FIN, then re-established the TCP session quickly. - RHEL 6.9 (tested with
kernel-2.6.32-696and2.6.32-696.6.3) does not respond to this FIN with a FIN, continues to send data which the appliance ACKs until the TCP Window is full then the session hangs.
