Memory leak coming from the JBoss EJBRemoteTransactionsRepository in JBoss EAP

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

It has been observed a memory leak coming from EJBRemoteTransactionsRepository. When is looked at the heap memory over the period of the high GC, it was noticed that the retained heap size is growing continuously without being cleared out. Min Heap memory is now not dropping below 3GB on the VM.

VMs can be up for any number of days before the GC becomes elevated and the heap memory starts to be leaked. When this happens the VMs are configured to restart.
