Satellite 5.8 Search service generating java.lang.ClassNotFoundException

Issue

  • Satellite 5.8 is complaining that it could not connect to search service.

  • The below exception was generated while using the search service in satellite 5.8

# more /var/log/tomcat6/catalina.out
SEVERE: Servlet.service() for servlet XMLRPC threw exception
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.redhat.rhn.frontend.xmlrpc.util.RhnSAXParser
