JBossXBRuntimeException when packaging jbosscache-pojo.jar in an application in EAP 5.x

Issue

  • The file pojocache-aop.xml in META-INF does not contain the correct namespace entry. The file contains:

    <aop>
    

    instead of

    <aop xmlns="urn:jboss:aop-beans:1.0">
    
  • Deploying an application causes the following error:

    ERROR [org.jboss.kernel.plugins.dependency.AbstractKernelController]::incrementState(959) - Error installing to Parse: name=vfszip:/jboss/server/default/deploy/test.war/ state=Not Installed mode=Manual requiredState=Parse
    org.jboss.deployers.spi.DeploymentException: Error creating managed object for vfszip:/jboss/server/default/deploy/test.war/
    ...
    Caused by: org.jboss.xb.binding.JBossXBException: Failed to parse source: Failed to resolve schema nsURI= location=aop
