JBoss ON fails to monitor EAP instance due to incorrect truststore that is used to connect to EAP using LDAP with SSL

Issue

  • The following error is logged in JBoss ON agent.log file when trying to monitor EAP instance:

    org.rhq.core.pluginapi.inventory.InvalidPluginConfigurationException: Failed to start component for Resource[id=11856, uuid=8daeb9f0-7a38-46bf-5bd2-d9b344d6fd2d, type={JBossAS7}JBossAS7 Standalone Server, key=hostConfig: /path/to/my/configuration/standalone.xml, name=EAP (127.0.0.1:10043), parent=my.test.server.com, version=EAP 6.4.14.GA] - Credentials for plugin to connect to AS7 management interface are invalid - update Connection Settings with valid credentials.
