JBoss EAP 7 service start up is timing out if console-handler is not configured
Issue
JBoss EAP 7 is installed via rpm. When starting JBoss standalone with /etc/init.d/eap7-standalone start, it is showed the following error:
eap7-standalone startup has timed out, process still running.
