Differences in mod_deflate between Apache HTTPD 2.2 and 2.4

Issue

  • We are moving from Apache httpd 2.2.x (jboss-ews-2.0) to 2.4.6 (jboss-ews-3.0). How to enable mod_deflate? We enabled the mod_filter and still complains with the below error :

    -----Invalid command 'AddOutputFilterByType', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration
