Why JWS3.1 tomcat8.service does not write console output to catalina.out?
Issue
- After updating the JWS3 tomcat from
tomcat8-8.0.18-62to latesttomcat8-8.0.36-17, we have observed that tomcat doesn't write console log tocatalina.outfile instead it goes into/var/log/messagesfile? Is there any recent change in tomcat console logging? - How to write JWS3
