Why does Red Hat Enterprise Linux console display error bash unary operator expected message while login?
Issue
- While login with user in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6, it shows messages as follows.
[test@rhel ~]$ su - testuser
Password:
logname: no login name
-bash: [: =: unary operator expected
logname: no login name
bash: [: =: unary operator expected
