High Availability for a 4 node stretched gluster environment

Issue

Given a stretch environment with two nodes in one datacenter and two nodes in another with less than 5ms latency between both sites

Is it better to use server side quorum or client side quorum? Is quorum even necessary when using only FUSE clients that talks directly to each brick?
