OpenShift egress router (MacVLAN) does not work on VMware

Issue

• Every port is open between the VMs on the network, and OpenShift itself works with no issues (e.g. services, pods, etc). The node itself has no issues connecting to internal, external nor allowed internet resources. The ARP responses don't return to the node as the MAC address for the node does not get registered on the dvSwitch. How do I fix this?
• Not able to reach the destination when using Egress router.
