Getting JBAS018060: Exception acquiring ownership of "session id"

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • We turned off sticky session on purpose because we want to use round robin to distribute requests to different web servers from Hardware Load balancer no matter of the session. But its not working and getting org.jboss.as.clustering.lock.TimeoutException: JBAS010213 error.

  • During Fail-Over test with ha clustering, when a server stops, the other servers have the following error messages stacktrace:

ERROR [org.apache.catalina.connector.CoyoteAdapter] (127.0.0.1:8009-50) An exception or error occurred in the container during the request processing: java.lang.RuntimeException: JBAS018060: Exception acquiring ownership of Fj2wBtXoChldob0cjC7QvzHn
