Issue

  • While creating a gfs2 filesystem with mkfs.gfs2 the following error occurred Could not initialise resource groups: Invalid argument causing a segfault to occur.
  • While extending a gfs2 filesystem with gfs2_grow the following error occurred Could not initialise resource groups: Invalid argument causing a segfault to occur.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 7 (with the High Availability Add On and Resilient Storage Add Ons)
  • A Global Filesystem 2(gfs2)
