Issue

  • Kernel panic with null pointer deference occurs when enabling on-board 4G wireless NIC. If configured correctly, kdump will trigger a crash and collect a vmcore.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.3
  • HP LT4111 LTE/EV-DO/HSPA+ Gobi 4G Module
