How does JSP compiler check JSP's timestamp on EAP 7?

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • How does EAP 7 JSP compiler determine if a newly deployed JSP needs to be recompiled?
  • When a newly deployedJSP file has an older timestamp than the JSP compiled cache in work directory, EAP 6 doesn't recompile it. But EAP 7 recompiles it.

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
    • 7.x
