Why do the systems hang on "Waiting for 1 sda-like device(s)" after they crashed?
Issue
Systems crash and fail to boot with bellow message on the console
Waiting for 1 sda-like device(s)...
Kdump is configured and active but there is no vmcore generated and saved from that crash.
Environment
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 running on VMware ESX hypevisor.
