High memory usage compared to another server with same configuration

Issue

• We are observing high memory utilization on one RHEL 5.7 server. System report almost 40% of 190GB memory usage (this is after subtracting buffers and caches) without any application services running on it.

• While we compare with another RHEL 5.7 server where application is running with exactly same configuration, the memory usage looks to be having huge difference.
