Is it possible to share templates between projects in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform

Issue

• OpenShift stores all templates in a special openshift project and all projects can access the templates of this global project. Question: Is it possible to store the template in another project than openshift and still make it global for every other project? I saw that OpenShift uses a special shared-resource-view role/policy on the openshift project but I did not managed to apply it to another project.
