How to secure bindpw entry in LDAP client system in /etc/ldap.conf
Issue
- How do I secure bindpw entry in LDAP client system ?
- Can I use an encrypted password for bindpw directive in /etc/ldap.conf file ?
- Issue trying to use SSHA encryption values in /etc/ldap.conf for bindpw element. SSHA encrypted values don't work, only clear text works.
- To encrypt the binddn password (bindpw) in ldap configuration file /etc/ldap.conf
- Can bindpw entry be hashed or encrypted ?
