When using ENVI Image Analysis software, how do I ensure the network interfaces are operational on boot to start the application?

Issue

• When using ENVI Image Analysis software as provided by Exelisvis, when a network interface is unplugged or does not receive a DHCP address the application fails to start on boot.

• ENVI, in order to use the application, checks the MAC address of a network interface on boot, and cannot do so if the link is inactive or in a down state.
