How can you reduce the level of logs printed to the console in RHEL?

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • An application outputs kernel warning message to console. How can the messages be suppressed?
  • SCSI errors generated are too much. The level of messages are ok  if the server only has a few SAN devices, but when the server has  several hundred, it's constantly logging SCSI errors.
  • Is there  anyway to surpress these scsi errors?
