Introspecting overcloud using kvm gets "unrecognised --timeout"error

Issue

  • Unable to configure OSP10 on KVM.
  • Unrecognised option: timeout
  • Getting Timed out at introspection step
openstack baremetal introspection bulk start

  • Below are the few steps which execute perfectly before getting time out.
    1 - VM is powering on
    2 - It is trying to boot with PXE
    3 - It has also found the DHCP server from which it should boot the kernal

  • getting error as "unrecognised --timeout" while booting with kernal or ramdisk.

  • Red Hat OpenStack Platform 10.0
