What should the openstack overcloud command look like for minor and major updates?

Issue

• When performing minor version updates to OpenStack, what should the update command look like? (ie, 7.1 to 7.2, 8.0 to 8.02)
• When performing major version upgrades to OpenStack, what should the upgrade command look like? (ie 8.0 to 9.0)
• Documentation is unclear on example update/upgrade commands. What should they look like?
• How to validate update/upgrade command?
• What steps should be taken to ensure an OpenStack update/upgrade goes smoothly?
