Apache httpd service on Red Hat Cluster Suite did not fail over after making configuration changes and restarting node.
Issue
- apache configuration changed and node2 was restarted to let node1 take over. the cluster failed.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- Red Hat Cluster Suite 5
- Quorum disk
- Apache service in active/passive mode as cluster resource
- HALVM configuration for access to LVM-based ext3 filesystems
