Changelog files are consuming more space

Issue

I am using the geo-replication feature to sync my volume's data to a different data center. But I see that the changelog files, in .glusterfs/changelogs, that are used by geo-replication to sync the data, are consuming too much space. I want to make more space available in my bricks without adding new bricks.
