rsyslog not understanding RFC5424 messages through unix socket

Issue

rsyslog is not considering RFC5424 when a message comes from a unix socket. So precise timestamps are not supported.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6
  • rsyslog
