RHV: Cannot open VM console after upgrading Hypervisor to 20160711.0.el7ev

Issue

  • Upgraded RHV-H 7.2 Hypervisor from 20160516.0.el7ev to 20160711.0.el7ev.
  • VM consoles are not opening on Hosts running 20160711.0.el7ev.
  • The following error shows up:
"Unable to connect to the graphic server (null)"
"Could not connect to A.B.C.D: no route to host"

Environment

  • Red Hat Virtualization 3.5, 3.6
  • Red Hat Virtualization Host 7.2
    • rhev-hypervisor7-7.2 later than 20160516.0.el7ev.
    • 20160516.0.el7ev works fine
  • Client uses browser-plugin console (spice-xpi)
