Satellite: tomcat won't start and seeing 'ORA-12545: Connect failed because target host or object does not exist' in catalina.out

Issue

  • Login page for satellite http://satellite.exmaple.com/rhn/Login.do isn't displaying
  • Seeing the following errors in /var/log/tomcat6/catalina.out:
