While installing client configuration rpms generated for RHEL 5 using `rhui-manager` running on RHEL 6, it fails with error " rpmlib(FileDigests) <= 4.6.0-1 is needed by client-config-2.0-1.noarch"
Issue
- While installing client configuration rpms generated for RHEL 5 using
rhui-managerrunning on RHEL 6, it fails with error below:
# rpm -ivh client-config-rhel5-2.0-1.noarch.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
rpmlib(FileDigests) <= 4.6.0-1 is needed by client-config-rhel5-2.0-1.noarch
rpmlib(PayloadIsXz) <= 5.2-1 is needed by client-config-rhel5-2.0-1.noarch
Environment
- Red Hat Update Infrastructure 2.x on RHEL 6
- RHEL5.10 clients (all RHEL5 supposed to be affected)
redhat-rpm-configpackage installed on the RHUA server.
