How can I boot a PV-GuestOS into rescue mode?

Updated -

The following steps can boot a PV-Guest OS into rescue mode.  In this example,  testserver is a pv-guest OS.

  1. Create an installation tree via httpd or nfs for the guest OS if there is no installation tree in the enviroment.
