Why am I unable to lauch the console for a VM from the Admin Portal in RHEV 3.1 with error "controller connection failed: error setting integrity"?

- Seeing the following error when trying to open the console of a VM via the Admin Portal in RHEV 3.1:
Controller connection failed: error setting integrity specified data type invalid
