RHV 4 host install fails on AMD hardware

Issue

After installing the 4.0 rpms and then trying to configure the self-hosted engine it errors out.
It seems to be due to the fact that openvswitch won't start up since it produces this error:

ERROR: This system does not support "SSSE3".
Please check that RTE_MACHINE is set correctly.

Environment

  • Red Hat Virtualization (RHV) 4.0
  • Red Hat Virtualization Host (RHV-H)
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2 and newer.
  • Intel Processors older than Woodcrest
  • AMD Processors older than Bulldozer or Piledriver
  • openvswitch-2.5.0-14
